Kolo Bike Park has been featured in the media through several outlets and publications. We’re working to develop more newsworthy events and attractions at The Park. Roots Rated is an online adventure media platform that produced an article on Asheville adventure and breweries. Of course since the founder of Kolo Bike Park began promoting the slogan “Ride Bikes. The Internet’s largest mountain biking community gathers at Pinkbike. These folks have their finger on the pulse of the mountain bike world. So it’s cool to see to see their awesome photo journalism piece on the Blue Ridge Battle Pump Track Challenge that has now become an annual event at Kolo. Check out the article, and get ready for the next battle!

UNC-TV produced a piece for their program NC Weekend that features the Adventure Center of Asheville. Kolo Bike Park is one of the partner businesses at the Adventure Center which offers zip lines, a treetops adventure park, tree climbing and even a mini zipline park for kids… There’s a little bike teaser in the beginning, and then the Kolo Bike Park video footage starts at 3:33.

The Asheville Citizen-Times published two articles on the Mountain Sports Festival. The first article gives the details on the Kolo Race Event as part of the Festival. The next article gave an overview of some of the events in the Festival and features the Kolo Flow Short Track Race and some of the features of Kolo Bike Park.

  1. I saw your piece on the morning news, but missed location.
    I’ve just spent more than 5 minutes looking for your exact location on your pages, but have not found it. Sounds like you’re near the Asheville zip line. Just saying, I’m a local rider and your page still has me lost.
    Also, you said on the news you have a Shram event today; nothing here about it I could find
